Rhonda Rhea on "Messy to Meaningful"

Messy. Gotta say, it’s one of my areas of expertise. It’s one of the reasons I so enjoyed writing this Messy to Meaningful book with Monica and Kaley. Because as big a mess as I can make, my Father is able to redeem it bigger still. For every mess? Grace. Big mess? More mercy. And above and beyond, oh wonder of wonders, He gives it all purpose. Gives it meaning. Oh my, how I love this!

Isaiah 44:22 reminds me how God loves and redeems His children:

“I have blotted out your transgressions like a cloud
    and your sins like mist;
return to me, for I have redeemed you” (ESV).

And while I love the beautiful “meanings” He gives, I also still have to admit that one of my fave quotes from Kaley’s book announcement vid is: “Daniel. Come lick this.” Ya’ll. Siblings are weird. And gross. And I love my children.
